It has also likely contributed to a shift in strategy for Netflix, which has gone from signing exclusive deals with creators to allowing them to keep their shows on YouTube. Rhett & Link and Nick DiGiovanni will start publishing their shows simultaneously on YouTube and Netflix. Sean Evans’ “Hot Ones” is also reportedly in talks for a similar arrangement, per Bloomberg.
