The James Kelleher Rose Garden in Boston's Back Bay Fens is bursting with color and fragrance as 1,500 rose bushes reach peak bloom. "This is the best I've ever seen it," one visitor said. Rows of vibrant reds, pinks, yellows, and whites create a stunning display in the heart of the neighborhood. The formal garden has been drawing visitors since the 1930s. "This was responding to a need espoused by the city of Boston and its residents," said Evan Bradley of the Emerald Necklace Conservancy.
