Savannah’s dining scene just got a little more interesting — and a little more intimate. Lester’s, a new seafood raw bar tucked into the heart of the Historic District, opened its doors this week, and it’s already generating the kind of quiet buzz that serious restaurant people pay attention to. The room is small by design — 42 seats total, including eight at the bar, plus an outdoor patio when the weather cooperates. Don’t let the footprint fool you, though. What matters here is the pedigree.
