Richmond, Va. (WRIC) — Highs today will be in the low 90s and we are expecting more sun earlier in the day than what we saw yesterday. We have another chance for late day showers and thunderstorms. We are in the level 1 out of 5 risk. The main threats today will be damaging wind gusts and heavy downpours. Tonight lows will be in the low 70s, and Saturday highs will be in the upper 80s. Tomorrow we have another chance for late day thunderstorms, mainly after noon.

We could see some sun for the first half of the day, but this afternoon and evening we’ll see yet another chance for late day showers and thunderstorms. Some of these storms could be strong or severe, with heavy downpours and gusty winds being the main threats. Virginia is in a level 1 and 2 for severe weather risk. The best timing for storms will be 3pm to 9pm.

Richmond, Va. (WRIC) — Highs today will be cool, in the middle 80s. We will see partly to mostly cloudy skies. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible, mainly in the later part of the day, but today’s rain chances will be the slimmest we see all week. Our severe weather threat is very low. If you live in a location that has dealt with flooding in recent days, it is possible to pick up another inch or so in a heavy downpour, but today’s flood threat is lower than the last two days.
