A multimodal vision-language model for comprehensive dental diagnosis and enhanced clinical practice
Abstract Oral diseases affect billions of people, yet specialist dental expertise remains unevenly distributed, and diagnosis often requires synthesis across diverse imaging modalities. Existing artificial intelligence systems mostly address isolated tasks, limiting their applicability in comprehensive dental assessment.

Association of lipid-lowering drug targets with risk of cutaneous melanoma: a mendelian randomization study - BMC Cancer
Our MR utilizes publicly aggregated data from expression quantitative trait loci (eQTL) studies and genome-wide association studies (GWAS), as detailed in Additional file 1. This study employs both SMR and MR methods. SMR demonstrates significantly higher power compared to two independent large-sample MR analyses when potential non-genetic confounders are present.
Antisense oligonucleotide therapeutic approach for Timothy syndrome - Nature
Abstract Timothy syndrome (TS) is a severe, multisystem disorder characterized by autism, epilepsy, long-QT syndrome and other neuropsychiatric conditions1. TS type 1 (TS1) is caused by a gain-of-function variant in the alternatively spliced and developmentally enriched CACNA1C exon 8A, as opposed to its counterpart exon 8.

De novo DNA methyltransferases DNMT3A and DNMT3B are essential for XIST silencing for erosion of dosage compensation in pluripotent stem cells
Highlights • XIST expression is linked to DNA methylation at the promoter regions in female hPSCs • De novo DNA methyltransferases DNMT3A and DNMT3B are essential for XIST silencing • XIST silencing is maintained in a de novo DNA-methylation-independent manner Summary Human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) have proven to be valuable tools for both drug discovery and the development of cell-based therapies.
Facile Synthesis ZnS/ZnO/Ni(OH) 2 Composites Grown on Ni Foam: A Bifun
The supercapacitor performances were studied with NZZN-3?mmol, NZZN-4?mmol and NZZN-5?mmol samples as work electrode in a three-electrode system by means of cyclic voltammetry (CV) and galvanostat charge-discharge tests. The CV curves at the same scan rate of 10?mV?s?1 are shown in Fig. 6a. The CV curve of NZZN-4?mmol electrode also covers the largest area demonstrating it possesses highest specific capacitance among the three tested samples.
Ni1-xZnxS/Ni foam composite electrode with multi-layers: one-step synthesis and high supercapacitor performance
Multi-layers NixZn1-xS/Ni foam composites were synthesized by a facile method of one-step hydrothermal reaction on the frame of Ni foam. Zn element plays a critical role in constructing the multi-layers nanostructure. In particular, various layers with different morphology work in a good synergistic effect for providing excellent electrochemical performance.
