HoYoverse has revealed the release date for the next major Genshin Impact update, with Version Luna VII set to bring new characters, new story elements, and more later this month. As you can probably guess, Version Luna VII follows on from April's Version Luna VI, and while that update took you back to the land of Mondstadt, you'll be in Sumeru to continue the last Version's Archon Quest this time around.

2K has laid off a number of employees at 31st Union, the studio currently working on free-to-play roguelike shooter Project Ethos, but studio head Ben Brinkman reckons things are still on track. In an internal memo shared with Gamesindustry.biz by 2K itself, Brinkman says that while he's "never been more confident in the future of [Project Ethos]", staff cuts are necessary in order to "better align" with the current state of the game's development.
