BAY CITY, MI – Voters across parts of Bay County will determine the outcome of several millage and bond proposals on Aug. 4. Public safety proposals will be on the ballot in the city of Pinconning, as well as Frankenlust and Garfield townships. A road millage renewal will appear on the ballot in Merritt Township. MIDLAND, MI – Two Democrats are running for the opportunity to oppose Republican incumbent Bill G. Schuette in the race for the 95th District representative in November’s general election. AnnMarie Horseman, a special education teacher in Midland County, is running against Gary VanBlaricum, a master mechanic, to represent the 95th District in the state House.
