View / Energy is the exposed flank in Europe’s rearmament Original
John’s view By most measures, NATO’s summit in Ankara this month was a success. Allies pledged €70 billion in military equipment, assistance, and training for Ukraine this year and committed to sustain at least that level in 2027. European members and Canada, having increased core defense investment by more than $139 billion in 2025, announced over $50 billion in new procurements.

Join former US Secretary of State John Kerry for a wide-ranging conversation on global sustainability challenges and opportunities, reflecting on leadership, international cooperation, and the evolving intersections between sustainability, diplomacy and public policy.
View / The largest energy crisis in modern history is only beginning Original
John’s view Six weeks into the worst energy crisis in modern world history, the case for energy sovereignty is being written in real time — in the price of every barrel of oil, every cargo of liquefied natural gas, and every elevated energy bill arriving for households from Tokyo to Turin. The closure of the Strait of Hormuz has removed more supply from global markets than any single event since petroleum became the lifeblood of the industrial economy.

View / The US nuclear push requires more urgent execution at scale Original
John’s view The US is entering a new chapter in nuclear energy, driven by a simple reality: The shifting fundamentals of power demand have made it a necessity. Data centers, advanced manufacturing, electrification of transport and buildings, and industrial reshoring are driving sustained load growth. After decades of flat demand, electricity is once again central to economic strategy.

Brake setups help
#1 Hi all I have been trying to drive without ABS assists and thought I was doing ok but I just did a online race F3 at Interlagos and realised my braking is much longer than the leaders. When I tried braking as late, I locked up, no matter what setup I used. I also found a similar issue against the AI driving Stock Cars V8 at Santa Cruz D, where the AI could brake at least 50m later than I was and again I tried to modify the brake setup but just ended up locking up.

Opinion | John Kerry: Trump Greenland Deal Can’t Undo Damage to NATO
SKIP ADVERTISEMENT You have a preview view of this article while we are checking your access. When we have confirmed access, the full article content will load. It’s easy to excuse the global sighs of relief after an apparently successful easing of the Greenland crisis — a crisis entirely of President Trump’s making. But, as Prime Minister Mark Carney of Canada declared in Davos, Switzerland, last week, “We are in the midst of a rupture.” This was true even before the Greenland debacle.

View: Renewables are the key to true energy sovereignty Original
John’s view For more than a century, the world’s energy system has resembled the human circulatory system: a vast network of pipelines and shipping lanes pulsing with oil, gas, and coal. Just as our bodies depend on healthy blood flow, the global economy has relied not only on fuel itself, but on its smooth and uninterrupted movement. That paradigm is beginning to shift.

Expert Tips for Entrepreneurs Facing Uncertainty in Business
In New Orleans, we are known for living with heart. Laissez les bons temps rouler — let the good times roll — is not just something we say during Mardi Gras or in the French Quarter. It speaks to our city’s enduring spirit, our ability to find joy and meaning even when circumstances are far from ideal. Here in New Orleans, we experience our share of problems, probably more than most cities, but one thing that stands true is that we are resilient.

COP 30 must finish what UN Ocean Conference started
As the sun sets on the third United Nations Ocean Conference in Nice, there is much to celebrate, but also much unfinished business for the world to address at the UN Climate Change Conference ( COP30 ) in Belém, Brazil, later this year. Against a backdrop of global uncertainty and questions about whether multilateral processes can still deliver, the countries represented in Nice were largely united on the need for a more ambitious response to the challenges facing our ocean.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. 0:00 Paused 0:00 / 1:25 As nuclear negotiations with Iran begin in earnest, President Trump has a once-in-a-generation opportunity to strike a bargain that could make the region—and the world—safer. That is, if Tehran agrees to it. We had profound disagreements about the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, but we agree today that there exists a short window for the improbable to happen.
Lexus RC F GT3 Acc Mod slow
#1 Hi, I'm relatively new to AC after playing ACC for years, I wanted to do some single player racing and I find AC to be much better suited to this task than ACC. I have a question regarding the Lexus RC F GT3 Acc Mod, this car seems much slower than the other AI cars I'm racing against. Is there any way in single player to tweak the BoP for this car in order that it doesn't always finish last in my championship? To give it a more realistic result spread?
FFB playing up
Hi all, I am using a Thrustmaster T300 RS GT and just went back to GTR2 and found the FFB is terrible. The main problem is: When I corner the FFB gets very heavy and increases with the speed of the corner. As it gets heavy it makes a hum. I tried many things in game to fix it with no luck. believe it or not increasing FFB strength and steering force helped. I also played with the Thrustmaster App settings and that did'nt work either. Please help, I can't live without GTR2.... ha ha.
Kamala Harris Is the Only Candidate Who Can Take on the Climate Crisis

Welcome to International Energy Week
International Energy Week 2025 Navigating the world’s energy transitions We live in an energy hungry world. Energy consumption overall, fossil fuel use and their associated greenhouse gas emissions are all rising. So too is the amount of power generated from clean energy, in particular wind and solar, but barely enough to even meet growing demand. The Paris Agreement is still out of reach and devastating climate impacts are unfolding across all continents.
