EU bodies reach agreement on Eurovignette Directive

Europe’s freight transport sector is getting ready for the future! On July 9th 2027, the eFTI Regulation will start applying in full, accelerating the transition from paper-based freight information to electronic data exchange across all transport modes in the EU. What does this mean? From that date, public authorities across the EU will be required to accept electronic freight information submitted by businesses through eFTI-certified platforms.

Mr Binman expands low emissions fleet with GRAZE support

Limerick-based waste management company Mr Binman has secured funding under the Government-backed GRAZE (Green Renewable Agricultural Zero Emissions) Vehicle Grant Scheme, supporting the continued expansion of its low-emission vehicle fleet. Funded through the Department of Climate, Environment and Energy’s Climate Action Fund, and administered by Gas Networks Ireland, the GRAZE Vehicle Grant Scheme is designed to encourage the uptake of renewable gas in Ireland’s commercial transport sector.
