METAIRIE, La. (WGNO)- Saints head coach Kellen Moore announced left guard Trevor Penning (toe) and defensive end Chase Young (calf) won’t play in the opener against the Cardinals. Penning has been dealing with a turf toe injury since the preseason opener against the Chargers. He has been out of a walking boot since last week, but won’t be able to suit up on Sunday. Chase Young first popped up on the injury report on Wednesday as he was limited with a calf injury.
