A search operation was underway Wednesday for a Boeing cargo aircraft carrying five people after the plane disappeared off the coast of Pakistan, according to multiple reports. The Boeing 737, operated by the private airline K2 Airways, was tracked by radar Tuesday evening before it began to descend rapidly and then lost contact with air traffic controllers, according to the BBC.
