FANNIN COUNTY, Texas (KTEN) — Fannin County Sheriff Cody Shook has confirmed that three young brothers died as a result of a drowning on Monday. The children — ages 6, 8 and 9 — fell through the ice at a private pond along Recreational Road #3 north of Bonham, according to a statement released Tuesday morning by the sheriff's office. "The 8- and 9-year-old were pulled from the water by the first arriving responders and a neighbor," the statement said.

FANNIN COUNTY, Texas (KTEN) — Fannin County Sheriff Cody Shook has confirmed that three children have died as a result of a drowning incident on Monday. The children were all elementary students in the Bonham Independent School District. "We are devastated by this unimaginable loss," Superintendent Dr. Lance Hamlin wrote in a letter to families.
