WHS Theresa Pereira Awards go to Guilbeault, Netro Amy Lockwood, a math teacher and this year’s recipient of the Class of 2026 yearbook dedication, presents Woonsocket High School’s coveted Theresa Pereira Awards to Braylon Guilbeault and Melany Netro. “Theresa Pereira, a member of the Class of 1953, was also the also first female president of the Woonsocket High School Student Council,” Lockwood said while making the presentation on stage.

The Class of 2026 saw the Excelsior Award for good leadership and participation in extracurricular activities and showing positive human relations go to Emma Hurley (pictured above left).
