A couple years ago, I visited Macon, Ga, for the first time. In town for just a day, I paid a visit to The Big House, storied abode and now museum of the Allman Brothers Band. I also grabbed a late lunch at H&H Restaurant but didn’t venture much beyond the city’s iconic and foundational lore of Southern Rock. This visit, I would do things differently.
