Caroline Cecil, took the stage at Festival d'été de Québec's Place George-V yesterday (July 13) for the most diverse crowd I witnessed across more than 10 shows at the festival. Queers, girlies, bros, scene kids and everyone in between raged in unison during the high-energy and emotionally charged set from the bright-blonde firestarter.

Sunny War, a.k.a. Sydney Lyndella Ward, took to the stage at Festival d'été de Québec at Place de l'Assemblée-Nationale Monday evening (July 13), following a full day of rain. There were only a handful of audience members willing to brave the chance of another storm, so I planted myself at the front of the stage. And the moment the artist began playing in the misty open-air venue, it was clear something special was happening.
