WORCESTER, M.A. (WPRI) – Memorial Catholic upset Bishop Feehan to win the Massachusetts division one state baseball title, 13-4. The Knights tie a state finals record with an 11-run fifth inning and win their first state title since 1973. Taunton softball took down Attleboro, 11-8, to claim the division one crown in the highest scoring softball final in state history.

WORCESTER, Mass. (WPRI) — Alyana DeJesus crushed a go-ahead, three-run home run, breaking the 1-1 tie in the fifth inning leading to the defeat of Apponequet, 5-1, in the Division 3 state championship at Worcester State University. “I didnt hit too great at the beginning of the game but I’m glad I could make an adjustment to help my team score some runs,” explained DeJesus.
