We have had two sides drop down from the sixth tier, both from the National League North, one move across from the Northern Premier League, and four come up from step 4. Up first we meet the two relegated sides. Leamington FC Leamington join us from the National League North, and are looking to bounce back quickly after a disappointing campaign last season. Nicknamed “The Brakes” after the club was founded by workers from the local automotive braking system company “Lockheed Borg & Beck”.

What was your first job as a journalist?

Our of university I helped run a property website aimed at buy-to-let landlords, and covered a bit of motor racing in my spare time. The Eastern Daily Press and Evening News carried a report of Martin and Alex Brindle at Silverstone, which was probably the biggest moment starting out.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

No, not properly, but my first 'computer' was a word processor and my grandfather was a typesetter.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

InDesign and Google Docs, mainly.
