Many studies have demonstrated electrochemical biosensors' usefulness for rapidly measuring challenging targets like cytokines [1]. These devices require three essential elements: an electrochemical transducer (e.g., a cell of working, counter, and reference electrode), a biorecognition element, and a piece of equipment to do and record the electrochemical measurement (i.e., potentiostat and a digital appliance like a laptop or cellphone).
