Large-scale proteomic characterization reveals clinically relevant subtypes of early-stage papillary thyroid cancer for prognostic prediction
Abstract Papillary thyroid cancer (PTC) has a rising incidence. The majority are diagnosed at an early stage, albeit with a minority exhibiting aggressive tendencies. Given its generally indolent nature, controversy persists regarding the management of early-stage PTCs, particularly surgical intervention and long-term surveillance strategies. Here, we conduct a large-scale proteomic characterization of early-stage PTC based on tumor samples from 797 patients.

Case Report: Exogenous insulin antibody syndrome complicated with chronic renal failure and long-term history of type 2 diabetes: report of two cases
Introduction Insulin autoimmune syndrome (IAS) is a rare disease that is frequently overlooked or misdiagnosed in clinical settings. It was first reported by the Japanese scholar Hirata in 1970; hence, it is also referred to as Hirata’s disease (1). Since then, cases have been identified in numerous countries. Indeed, 795 cases of IAS have been documented worldwide, with the highest prevalence in Japan and China (2) and relatively fewer reports among Caucasian populations (3).

Designing interfacially stable Na-ion polymer electrolytes with tailored local solvation structures
Designing interfacially stable Na-ion polymer electrolytes with tailored local solvation structures The layered oxide cathode materials face the instability challenge as the high-valent transition metal ions can easily capture electrons during the charging process and lead to the decomposition of polymer electrolytes in sodium-ion batteries, deteriorating the Coulombic efficiency and cycling stability.

Circular DNA vcDNA-S7 derived from segmented-dsRNA virus BmCPV attenuated viral infection through RNase H1
Abstract Viral circDNA derived from insect positive-sense single-stranded RNA viruses plays a crucial role in regulating viral infections depending on the RNAi pathway. Our previous research has revealed that Bombyx mori cypovirus (BmCPV), a segmented-dsRNA virus, can generate viral circDNA vcDNA-S7, which can be transcribed to form RNA and further processed into small RNAs to defend against the virus through RNAi. However, whether vcDNA-S7 employs other mechanisms to resist the viruses.

Papillary thyroid cancer (PTC), a subtype constituting a significant proportion of thyroid malignancies, is recognized as the most common malignant neoplasm affecting the endocrine system [1]. Its incidence has exhibited a notable surge on a global scale in recent years [2]. While a considerable cohort of PTC patients enjoys a relatively indolent clinical course, marked by favorable surgical outcomes, a substantial subset confronts the challenges posed by the invasive forms of this disease.

Early Performance Degradation Detecting Method for PMSM Based on Change in Frequency Domain Features of Three-Phase Stator Current
Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) is applied in many fields, e.g. electric vehicles, aircrafts, robots. Its performance degradation is inevitable as time goes on [1]. Sometimes performance degradation may quickly propagate into catastrophe failure and then cause downtime, even catastrophic accident. For example, in the field of aerospace and electric vehicle, anything goes wrong with PMSMs may make catastrophic accident.
Dissecting the immune discrepancies in mouse liver allograft tolerance and heart/kidney allograft rejection
1 INTRODUCTION Around 120,000 new organ transplantations were performed each year. Reaction Behavior of Kaolinite in Sulfur-Bearing Sodium Aluminate Solution under the Simulated Bayer Process
2.1. Materials In this paper, the sodium aluminate solution was prepared by dissolving industrial-grade aluminum hydroxide into a sodium hydroxide solution. All other reagents used in the experiments were of analytical grade. The concentration of caustic alkaline (Nk, calculated as Na2O) and aluminum oxide (Al2O3) in the prepared sodium aluminate solution was determined by titration, then the mole ratio of Na2Ok to Al2O3 (αk) can be calculated.
