Introduction Subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) accounts for 5% of stroke cases, and aneurysm rupture is the underlying cause in 85% of SAH cases. Hydrocephalus is a major complication among patients with spontaneous SAH.1–3 Hydrocephalus can lead to a prolonged hospital stay, an increased number of days (d) in the intensive care unit (ICU), and an increased rate of shunt-dependent hydrocephalus in SAH patients.4 It is also a common cause of readmission after aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH).
TAF1 acetyltransferase promotes colorectal carcinoma metastasis by catalyzing β-hydroxybutyrylation of KCTD9 - Oncogene
Abstract Colorectal carcinoma (CRC) ranks as the second leading cause of cancer mortality worldwide. However, the mechanisms underlying CRC progression and metastasis, remain unclear. Our current research has identified that TATA-binding protein-associated factor-1 (TAF1), also as a lysine acetyltransferase, is frequently upregulated in CRC. Survival analysis has indicated that patients whose tumors expressed high TAF1 levels had poorer outcomes.

One-Shot Simple Pattern Detection without Pre-Training and Gradient-Based Strategy
1. Introduction One-shot or few-shot object detection (OSD and FSD, respectively) and localization have been widely demanded in visual-related projects. Specifically, in our project, which has hardly any training examples, in a scenario where a specified target is set to mark terrains, a model that can not only perform one-shot object detection on simple targets but can also output their location is needed.
Butyl succinate-mediated control of Bacillus velezensis CE 100 for apple anthracnose caused by Colletotrichum gloeosporioides
In vitro antifungal assays revealed that the culture filtrate and volatile organic compounds of B. velezensis ce 100 strongly restricted the mycelial development of C. gloeosporioides. Moreover, a bioactive compound, butyl succinate, was isolated from the n-butanol crude extract of B. velezensis ce 100 (bce), and identified by HR-ESI-MS and 1D- and 2D-NMR. Treatment with purified butyl succinate at a concentration of 300 μg mL−1 strongly controlled conidial germination of C.
Tariff-Based Optimal Scheduling Strategy of Photovoltaic-Storage for Industrial and Commercial Customers
2.1. PSO-BP PV Power Prediction Model Due to the increase in electricity demand and the stochastic nature of PV power generation, the accuracy of PV power prediction is of great significance for power scheduling [19]. It is crucial for the prediction model to obtain the historical data and environmental data. The main factors affecting PV power prediction include temperature, humidity, irradiance, etc. [20]. In the PV power prediction field, various prediction methods are widely used.
NRF1 promotes primordial germ cell development, proliferation and survival
Abstract Primordial germ cells (PGCs) are the germline precursors that give rise to oocytes and sperm, ensuring the continuation of life. While the PGC specification is extensively studied, it remains elusive how the PGC population is sustained and expanded after they migrate to embryonic gonads before birth. This study demonstrates that NRF1, a known regulator for mitochondrial metabolism, plays critical roles in post-migrating PGC development.

Correction to: Nature Communications https://doi.org/10.1038/s41467-021-23203-y, published online 17 May 2021. The original version of this Article contained an error in page 6 line 13 which incorrectly read ‘However, the heat conductance (along the direction normal to the substrate) is dependent on the relative substrate thickness, which for thin NOA63 and the thick glass substrate are 543.38 and 37.5 [W K−1]’. The correct version states ‘0.543 and 0.0375 [W K−1]’.
Phase noise measurement of an optoelectronic oscillator based on the photonic-delay line cross-correlation method
Abstract Phase noise measurement of a dual-loop optoelectronic oscillator (OEO) based on a dual- photonic-delay line cross-correlation method is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. The dual-loop OEO and the phase noise measurement system are combined by sharing the transmitter of the optical link, which makes the structure of the system simpler. In part of the dual-loop OEO, the 10 km long fiber is shared by the two loops of the OEO utilizing a wavelength division multiplexing technique.
Tunable low-drift spurious-free optoelectronic oscillator based on injection locking and time delay compensation
Abstract A finely tunable low-drift spurious-free single-loop optoelectronic oscillator (OEO) incorporating injection locking and time delay compensation is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. In the proposed OEO, one mode of a single-loop OEO is injection locked by a tunable electronic oscillator resulting in single-mode oscillation. A time delay compensation system is used to compensate the OEO’s loop length change caused by environmental changes, such as temperature and strain.
A novel long noncoding RNA HOXC-AS3 mediates tumorigenesis of gastric cancer by binding to YBX1
Before the discovery of noncoding RNAs, explorations for cancer drivers focused on protein-coding genes that resided in recurrent alterations in cancer genomes. However, the newly discovered lncRNAs have emerged as important players in cellular development and human diseases, especially in cancer. In the present study, utilizing publicly available lncRNA expression profiling data of gastric cancer and integrating analyses of TCGA data, we screened and identified a novel lncRNAs HOXC-AS3.

Synthesis of A 2D Phosphorus Material in A MOF-based 2D Nano-reactor
Synthesis of two dimensional (2D) materials mainly relies on interface-templates, exfoliation of layered crystals and surfactant-assistant. Here we have realized another strategy of polymerization in a 2D nano-reactor. As an application of this strategy, a 2D nano-reactor was constructed within a new pillar-layer metal organic framework (MOF) and in this nano-reactor a moderate stable 2D phosphorus material was synthesized from white phosphorus (P4).
Setting strategy of delay-optimization-oriented SMAC contention window size
Some frame components, such as SYNC (frame synchronization) and RTS/CTS (Ready to Send/Clear to Send), are not taken into consideration when the traditional setting strategies conduct the optimization of SMAC (Sensor MAC) contention window size. This paper proposes mathematical models that allow the analysis of data packets forwarding delay within one SMAC virtual cluster. Simulation results in OMNeT++ show good agreements with the proposed mathematical models, validating the models’ correctness.
