High Energy Physics - Phenomenology
We study $B_c^{(*)}$ production in $Z$-boson decays at next-to-leading order (NLO) in QCD within the color-singlet nonrelativistic QCD framework. The analysis covers both the $1S$ and $2S$ pseudoscalar and vector states, extending the phenomenological study to radially excited $B_c$ mesons. We calculate direct production widths and energy-fraction and invariant-mass distributions, including both charm- and bottom-quark production topologies.
A fully integrated sample-to-answer diagnostic platform enables rapid quantification of post-transplant infection at the point-of-care
Abstract Opportunistic infections after organ transplantation require frequent monitoring over years. However, current diagnostic tests are inaccessible to patients in resource-limited settings. Here, we present a microfluidic-enhanced nucleic acid test for on-site reporting (MONITOR), a fully integrated, sample-in-answer-out platform for point-of-care (POC) detection of opportunistic infections.
Atomic-scale mechanism of anisotropic ion migration in 2D Bi 2 O 2 Se nanodevices
Abstract Progress in 2D memristive technologies is increasingly constrained by a limited understanding of how crystallographic anisotropy governs ion migration and resistive switching. Bi2O2Se offers a compelling model system in which in-plane and out-of-plane devices display strikingly different electrical behaviors, yet the atomic-scale origins of this disparity remain unknown.
A Practical DNA Molecular Computing Platform for Identifying Expression Patterns of Multiple miRNAs Related to Diseases Click to copy article link Article link copied!
Abstract Click to copy section linkSection link copied! MicroRNAs (miRNAs) have emerged as potential biomarkers for human diseases. Classification models established on the expression levels of multiple miRNAs can be used to realize a reliable diagnosis of diseases. The detection of expression patterns of multiple miRNAs using traditional methods is generally cost-prohibitive, labor-intensive, and limited by the requirements of sophisticated facilities.

Public data accessibility and the Matthew effect in corporate digital competition: evidence from China
Abstract In the digital economy, data as a production factor plays a strategic role in shaping market competition. This study theoretically analyzes and empirically tests the existence and formation mechanisms of the Matthew effect in corporate digital competition. It further examines whether public data accessibility can mitigate this effect.
A risk prediction model for medical conflict in emergency departments
1 Background Doctor-patient conflict refers to the tension or dispute between doctors and patients during diagnosis, treatment, or care, resulting from differing perceptions about the process, attitude, or outcome (1). In recent years, amid intensifying reforms in the medical and healthcare systems, patients’ increasing demand for services and heightened awareness of their rights have led to a rise in doctor-patient disputes.
Discovery and serological validation of DAMP-derived B-cell epitopes as diagnostic biomarkers for diabetic nephropathy
Introduction Diabetic nephropathy is one of the serious and common microvascular complications of both diabetes type 1/2, affecting approximately 30%–40% of diabetic patients and remaining a primary cause of end-stage renal disease (ESRD) globally (1, 2). It is clinically defined by persistent albuminuria, reduced glomerular filtration rate (GFR), and histopathological features such as glomerular basement membrane thickening, mesangial matrix expansion, and tubulointerstitial fibrosis (3, 4).

Revisiting ${K}_{1}(1270)\ensuremath{-}{K}_{1}(1400)$ mixing with QCD sum rules
We investigate the K1(1270)−K1(1400) mixing induced by the flavor SU(3) symmetry breaking. The mixing angle is calculated in a purely theoretical manner, where it is expressed by a K1A→K1B transition matrix element of the operators that break flavor SU(3) symmetry. The QCD contribution to this matrix element is assumed to be dominated and calculated with QCD sum rules. A three-point correlation function is defined and handled both at the hadron and quark-gluon levels.
