Orthogonal Light- and Enzyme-Triggered and-Gate Prodrugs for Senolytic Therapy
1 Introduction Cellular senescence—a state of stable, irreversible cell-cycle arrest—has emerged as a critical, yet therapeutically underexploited, hallmark of the tumor microenvironment (TME) [1-4]. Therapy-induced senescence (TIS), frequently triggered by frontline cytotoxic chemotherapy and radiotherapy, drives the accumulation of senescent cells that persist within the TME rather than undergoing clearance [5].
Metagenomic insights into pathogen diversity and public health risk of Haemaphysalis longicornis in Gansu Province of China
Statistical analyses were performed using Python (version 3.10.11). We evaluated the consistency in microbial community composition and abundance between parental and offspring samples using Bray–Curtis similarity indices and Pearson correlation coefficients.
Room-temperature flash sintering of silicon carbide ceramics via novel carbon electrodes
Abstract Using a composite layered carbon electrode structure, this study achieved room-temperature flash sintering of disc-shaped SiC ceramics without sintering aids. Under a DC voltage of 100 V, the developed method enabled the preparation of sintered SiC discs (20 mm diameter) in 180 s with a relative density of 94.13%. Despite exhibiting a larger grain size relative to conventionally sintered counterparts, the flash-sintered samples developed well-defined grain boundaries.
Migratory bird aggregation drives seasonal greenhouse gas hotspots in restored wetlands
Abstract Ecological restoration of coastal wetlands has contributed to reversing biodiversity loss, but its effects on greenhouse gas emissions remain poorly understood. Here, we present three years of field measurements from restored wetlands in Southeast China, comparing areas with and without dense migratory waterbird congregations.
Effects of Intensive Periodized Training with Multi-Strain Probiotic Supplements on Training Adaptation and Exercise Performance in Amateur Runners
Abstract Objective This randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study investigated whether intensive periodized training combined with multi-strain probiotics affects training adaptation and exercise performance in amateur runners. Methods Thirty amateur runners were randomly assigned to receive either a multi-strain probiotic (PG, n = 15) or a placebo (CG, n = 15) during a four-week, intensive periodized training program. Two participants withdrew from the PG.
Graph attention network-enhanced multi-agent reinforcement learning for dynamic interception task allocation in counter-drone defense
Abstract In cooperative counter-drone defense, dynamic interception task allocation presents a fundamental challenge: targets may appear, vanish, or shift trajectory unpredictably throughout an engagement. Current multi-agent reinforcement learning approaches generally lack explicit mechanisms to capture the changing correspondence between interceptors and targets as the operational topology evolves.

Fingertip-scale six-axis tactile interface with high-precision force sensing and position localization for dexterous human–machine interactions
Abstract Developing microsystem-based tactile sensors that can simultaneously decode multidirectional forces and precise contact locations remains a formidable challenge, limiting robotic dexterity and human–machine interaction. To bridge this gap, we present HexaTouch, a fingertip-scale (15 × 15 × 8 mm) sensor that synergizes the deformation-encoding principle of vision-based sensors with the miniaturization and rapid response of capacitive sensing.
