Hurricane Fausto to bring showers to Hawaii next week

Hurricane Fausto is still far from the islands at over two thousand miles east of the state. Strengthening is expected for Fausto into this weekend, potentially a category two hurricane this week. Hurricane Fausto should weaken back to tropical storm status early next week, well east of Hawaii. Impacts are too early to forecast, but rain is a highly likely scenario next week between Tuesday to Thursday. Wind speeds will depend on the proximity of this system to Hawaii.
