Everything is embarrassing. This is one of my guiding principles as a 40-year-old male content creator—though I prefer “entertainer,” mostly because “content creator” elicits a specific taste in people’s mouths akin to shit. To be great at anything, even interviewing people on trains and in taxis, you must be mid first. And to be mid is to be a total embarrassment to your friends, your family, and people you’d like to have sex with. There is technically nothing wrong with being mid.

What is your ideal office? A place where I can get things done super quickly and then take a nap on the couch. I don't really like to socialize too much when I am in a work mood, so I prefer a private office that feels like a home away from home, because that's what it is! I think it's also ideal to have an office in a neighborhood you like, but that isn't the same neighborhood you live in. I like to commute to work in a different borough.
