A rendering of the proposed new Westhill High School.. Courtesy of SLAM and Amenta Emma When the plan for a new high school in Stamford was proposed in the 1960s, many voices — especially teacher voices — spoke up to say, “Don’t build a sprawling school with a flat roof in New England.” The plan went forward, and as we all know Westhill was eventually overcome with mold. Now the plan for the new Westhill is out there, and teachers see problems.
