APPLETON, Wis. (WBAY) - The City of Appleton is holding a public meeting to talk about the future reconstruction of Lawe St. The meeting is at City Hall from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The project will reconstruct Lawe St. between College and Wisconsin avenues. GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - The Wisconsin Department of Transportation released a preview Thursday of all the interstate and state highway construction projects happening in our area this year. One of the biggest gets underway next month, the I-41 corridor between De Pere and Grand Chute is being expanded from four lanes to six! “I live in Appleton and I work in De Pere. So, I am driving that stretch of the highway, usually twice a day, five days a week,” said Joe Niederehe.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - With kids about to go to school again, some parents on Green Bay’s east side are concerned about their kids’ safety on the streets. The neighborhood is between Edison Middle School and Interstate 43. Sherry Lane and Edward Drive meet in a three-way intersection. There’s no stop sign. The moms we talked with said the speed limit is 25 miles per hour in their neighborhood but people go much faster than that, at least 10 miles over the limit.
