Multimodal locking-enabled robust and day-scale low-repetition-rate soliton microcomb for high-precision metrology
Abstract Chip-scale soliton microcombs, particularly those operating at low, electronically detectable repetition rates (≤ 26.5 GHz), are highly promising for portable metrology. However, their practical deployment has been critically hindered by poor robustness against intracavity noise and environmental perturbations.
Discovering heuristics in a complex SAT solver with large language models
Abstract The Satisfiability problem (SAT) is fundamental in computational complexity theory and has a wide range of industrial applications. Optimizing modern SAT solvers in real-world settings is quite challenging due to their intricate architectures. While automatic configuration frameworks have been developed, they rely on manually constrained search spaces. Here we develop AutoModSAT, a framework that uses large language models (LLMs) to automatically optimize SAT solvers.
The Mechanism and Difference of Superplastic Deformation Microstructure of SP700 Ti-Alloy Sheet with Two Kinds of Thickness
1 Introduction Titanium alloys have been extensively utilized in aerospace, shipbuilding, automotive, and biomedical fields owing to an attractive combination of high specific strength, low density, excellent corrosion resistance, and good biocompatibility. With the rapid advancement of these industrial sectors, the demand for high-performance titanium alloys continues to grow [1].
Overcoming the thermo-refractive noise limit for a full-spectrum Hertz-linewidth microcomb
Abstract Chip-scale microcombs combining high repetition rates and Hertz-level linewidths are critical for precision measurements and parallel coherent communications. Self-injection locking (SIL) has been widely used but faces a fundamental limitation: the microresonator must simultaneously generate the comb and suppress noise, creating a coherence ceiling set by thermo-refractive noise (TRN). This imposes a fundamental trade-off between repetition rate and linewidth.
Heme oxygenase-1 activation in mononuclear phagocytes in acute Kawasaki disease
Abstract Introduction: Kawasaki disease (KD) is an acute systemic vasculitis with an unknown etiology, and the underlying molecular mechanisms of vascular inflammation remain unclear. Mononuclear phagocyte activation is a prominent feature of the acute phase, but the upstream regulators of this process remain incompletely understood. This study aimed to investigate the role of heme oxygenase-1 in mononuclear phagocyte inflammation in KD.
E2F-mediated activation of mTORC1 through the ubiquitin-proteasome system promotes lung adenocarcinoma progression
Abstract Lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) is the major histological subtype of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1), a master regulator of anabolic growth and metabolism, has been implicated in unfavorable prognosis and therapeutic resistance in LUAD. Nevertheless, how this association is mechanistically established remains insufficiently understood.

Dynamic magneto-mechanical force in lysosomes induces durable macrophage repolarization for antitumor immunity - Cell Research
Abstract Mechanical forces are emerging physical cues that regulate biochemical signals of immune cells for antitumor immunity. Owing to the lack of precise tools to impose intracellular forces, little is known about whether and how organelle-level forces trigger mechanotransduction for antitumor immunity. Here, we developed a magneto-mechanical force-triggered lysosomal membrane permeabilization (MagLMP) strategy to induce durable macrophage repolarization for in vivo applications.

Modeling post-gastrula development via bidirectional pluripotent stem cells - Cell Research
Abstract The absence of stem cells capable of efficiently generating both trophoblast and epiblast lineages has hindered precise recapitulation of embryonic development. Through high-content chemical screening, we established an (AS and LY) AL medium to generate mouse bidirectional pluripotent stem cells (BPSCs) characterized by concurrent expression of OCT4 and CDX2.

Endoplasmic reticulum stress related super-enhancers suppress cuproptosis via glycolysis reprogramming in lung adenocarcinoma - Cell Death & Disease
Abstract The role of copper in tumor progression is thought to be a double-edged sword. Moderate levels of copper promote tumor progression, while excess copper induces a novel form of programmed cell death known as cuproptosis. However, the relationship between lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) and cuproptosis remains poorly understood. Copper colorimetric assay identified the progression of LUAD simultaneous associated with higher copper accumulation.

Locus Coeruleus‐Dorsolateral Septum Projections Modulate Depression‐Like Behaviors via BDNF But Not Norepinephrine
1 Introduction Major depressive disorder (MDD) is a common, costly, and debilitating mental health disorder that is tied to an increased suicide risk around the world.[1-4] In spite of significant progress, most current treatments for depression are ineffective and cause intolerable side effects.[5-7] A deeper understanding of depression's pathophysiology and the development of novel treatments is needed.

Cloning and Expression of Four Aquaporin Homologs from the Chinese Black Sleeper (Bostrychus sinensis): The Effects of Salinity Acclimation
Abstract Several fish species are known to possess mechanisms that allow them to adapt to environments with different salinities. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of salinity on the expression of aquaporins (aqp1a, aqp3a, aqp8a, and aqp9a) in the gills and intestines of Chinese black sleeper.
Reflections on the Catastrophic 2020 Yangtze River Basin Flooding in Southern China
Main Text During the summer of 2020, southern China suffered from catastrophic flooding, the massive basin flood mainly occurred in the Yangtze River's middle and lower reaches. As of July 20, 2020, the cumulative precipitation since the rain season started exceeded 500 mm over most of the Yangtze River Basin, reaching >1,200 mm in some areas of the lower reaches, exceeding the same period in 1998, the severest flood year in the past 60 years.
MicroRNA‐1258 suppresses tumour progression via GRB2/Ras/Erk pathway in non‐small‐cell lung cancer
Objectives Lung cancer is still a disease with high morbidity and mortality in the world. MicroRNAs have been proven to act as an indispensable role in the reuse of multiple solid tumours. Although miR‐1258 plays a vital role in suppressing metastasis in breast cancer and gastric cancer, the specific biological function of miR‐1258 in non‐small‐cell lung cancer remains unclear.
Exercise activates the PI3K-AKT signal pathway by decreasing the expression of 5α-reductase type 1 in PCOS rats
Several studies have suggested that insulin resistance plays a key role in the pathogenesis of PCOS22,23. By measuring the activity of 5αR in urine, an increase of the 5αR activity was observed with an increase of insulin resistance index in related studies24,25,26. A small sample population-based research study showed that the elevated activity of 5αR was associated with obesity27 and type2 diabetes28 and could be regulated by the composition of dietary nutrients.
miRNAs that Induce Human Cardiomyocyte Proliferation Converge on the Hippo Pathway
Possible Redundant Control of Hippo by Endogenous miRNAs The preceding gain-of-function experiments revealed 67 miRNAs that can stimulate hiPSC-CM proliferation in a YAP-dependent manner. Because siRNA against YAP decreased the basal rate of hiPSC-CM proliferation (Figure 3Figure 3C), we asked whether endogenous miRNAs might sustain proliferation.
