MONROE, La. (KNOE) - The American Automibile Association announced that oil and gas prices will remain high while the U.S. is involved in the Iran conflict. The national average price for a gallon of gasoline jumped one dollar in one month, according to AAA data. The AAA, notes that Louisiana is about 39 cents below the national average. The highest costs in our region is East Carroll Parish at $3.69. While Monroe’s current average for gas is $3.49.
