Yes

Who's your favorite fictional journalist?

Currently: MacKenzie McHale (she's the executive producer, but still...) and Sloan Sabbith, both from HBO's The Newsroom.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

Macbook, CUE, Nikon D3500 DSLR, Google Docs, Google Drive, Merlin, etc.

What's your favorite social network?

Why did you become a journalist?

I love learning and sharing information.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

Yes. I was a staff writer my junior year (2007-08), then I was elected to be the clubs editor my senior year (2008-09).

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Don't give up. If you're in school and your professors scare you into believing you won't find a job, stay positive and motivated.
