When I think of Nashville, images reel through my mind of men wearing cowboy hats with guitars slung across their shoulders. Hank Williams. Johnny Cash. Garth Brooks. Well, they used to anyway. I took my third and longest trip to Music City this spring, where the influence of women on this historic town began to fully register. I knew about Dolly Parton’s prowess in Nashville as well as its odd magnetic draw for bachelorette parties, but that was about it.
