Some are finding creative ways to cool down and escape the scorching heat, like those heading to LA Kings Riverside Ice Town. “We are busy, busy, busy,” Monica Viola, the director of figure skating and ice hockey at the Riverside rink, said Friday morning.

The scorching heat isn’t going anywhere this weekend. As the hot summer temperatures continue to hover over the Inland Empire, residents like Stephanie Raming were finding ways to cool down on Friday. “It was supposed to be over 100 degrees today, so we came to beat the heat,” Raming said. The Claremont resident and her two children, Bentley and Hunter, spent Friday at Raging Waters in San Dimas trying to stay cool.
