The victim was identified by New Jersey state police on Tuesday as 28-year-old Gunnar Pearson of Barnegat, N.J. Pearson was one of two people who were ejected into the water upon impact.

Investigation underway after Memorial Day boat crash leaves 6 hurt, 2 critical, in Long Beach Twp.

An investigation is underway after six people were injured when a boat crashed into a channel marker on Barnegat Bay near Long Beach Island on Memorial Day. Two people, who were ejected into the water upon impact, were air lifted to Atlantic City in critical condition. The other four occupants were transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. The damaged boat was towed away Tuesday morning. Now, investigators are working to determine what caused the crash.

Four shot after gunfire erupts at Olney party Original

PHILADELPHIA- Philadelphia Police are investigating a quadruple shooting in Olney early Monday morning. The calls started coming in shortly after midnight. Investigators say there had been a party in a garage in the alleyway between Marwood and Clarkson. An argument erupted in gunfire. At least 9 shots were fired. Arriving officers initially did not find any gunshot victims but located a 16-year-old in a nearby ambulance at Marwood and Geneva.
