Wide temperature range, ultra-extensible piezoelectric sensor for aircraft surface impact monitoring
Abstract Flexible sensors that can be laminated on curved surfaces are a desired form for aircraft surface impact monitoring. Sensors for such applications must withstand the wide range of temperature fluctuations on aircraft surfaces during flight and exhibit excellent extensibility to attach to and monitor large-scale curved surfaces, whereas existing flexible sensors fail to meet these demands. Here, we report a wide temperature range, ultra-extensible piezoelectric sensor.

Abstract Lynch syndrome (LS) is a hereditary cancer predisposition syndrome associated with multiple malignancies, including colorectal cancer and upper tract urothelial carcinoma (UTUC). We report a 61-year-old woman who initially presented with ascending colon adenocarcinoma and underwent laparoscopic right hemicolectomy. Immunohistochemistry showed loss of MLH1 and PMS2 expression, suggesting deficient mismatch repair.
A unique CD4⁺ T cell subset expressing granzyme K is regulated by transcription factor EOMES and important for T cell-mediated intestinal inflammation
Abstract CD4⁺ helper T (TH) cells consist of multiple functional subsets defined by specific effector cytokines and transcription factors. Recently, single-cell transcriptomic analyses have revealed possible existence of additional populations. Here we identify a unique CD4⁺ T cell subset in mouse and human colitis characterized by high levels of granzyme K (Gzmk) expression, designated as THK cells.
Ms4a7 expression in cDC1s determines cross-presentation and antitumor immunity
Editor’s summary Tumor antigen capture and cross-presentation by type I conventional dendritic cells (cDC1s) are critical for initiating antitumor CD8+ T cell immunity. However, how this important process is regulated by the tumor microenvironment remains unclear. Xie et al. report that membrane-spanning 4-domains subfamily A member 7 (Ms4a7) expression in mouse cDC1s promotes CD8+ T cell cross-priming in tumors. Loss of Ms4a7 in cDC1s impairs antigen-specific CD8+ T cell responses against tumors.

A Novel Unit Classification Method for Fast and Accurate Calculation of Radiation Patterns
3. Numeral Validations The traditional multiplication method assumes the antenna element to be identical, bringing errors to the radiation pattern calculation. In the proposed unit classification method, antenna elements are classified into groups according to their mutual coupling and edge effect, which is mainly determined by their positions in arrays. By using this proposed method, radiation pattern calculation can be decomposed into several groups.

Achieving Ultrahigh Energy Storage Performance for NaNbO3-Based Lead-Free Antiferroelectric Ceramics via the Coupling of the Stable Antiferroelectric R Phase and Nanodomain Engineering
NaNbO3(NN)-based lead-free eco-friendly antiferroelectric (AFE) ceramics with an extremely high maximum polarization (Pm) are believed to be a promising alternative to traditional lead-based ceramics. Nevertheless, the high energy dissipation resulting from the large polarization hysteresis, which arises from the AFE-ferroelectric (FE) phase transition, poses a great challenge to the application of this promising ceramic.
Enantioselective Total Synthesis of the Cephalotaxus Alkaloid (−)-Cephalotine A
Cephalotine A, a recently isolated Cephalotaxus alkaloid, was first synthesized enantioselectively through three critical reactions. SmI2 -mediated radical cyclization of lactone and aldehyde to forge the final ring system, Chang’s iridium-catalyzed C–H amidation to construct pyrrolidone stereoselectively, and Carreria’s dual Ir/amine catalyzed allylation to install the vicinal tertiary stereocenters.
Molecular Bridge Assisted Bifacial Defect Healing Enables Low Energy Loss for Efficient and Stable Perovskite Solar Cells
Abstract Interface engineering is of paramount importance for optimizing carrier dynamics and stability of perovskite solar cells (PSCs), but little attention has been paid to understanding and managing the buried interfaces. Here, a molecular bridge strategy is developed to modify the properties of buried interfaces in n–i–p PSCs by introducing a multi-functional additive 2-Hydroxyethyl trimethylammonium chloride (ChCl) in the bottom SnO2 electron transport layer.
All-polarization-maintaining NALM mode-locked Er/Yb-doped large-mode-area fiber oscillator
Abstract We report a mode-locked high-power all-polarization-maintaining Er/Yb-doped large-mode-area fiber oscillator based on a bias nonlinear amplifying loop mirror (NALM). The oscillator can generate ∼1-nJ femtosecond pulses without dispersion compensation. By inserting a Martinez-type compensator to provide normal dispersion, it can generate >10-nJ picosecond dissipative solitons (DSs). The measured M2 factors are below 1.5, indicating a good beam quality.
