CCN1-induced senescence and dysfunction of umbilical cord blood endothelial colony-forming cells in the pathogenesis of preeclampsia
Abstract Introduction: Maternal vascular dysfunction and impaired placental angiogenesis are key features of preeclampsia (PE). Umbilical cord blood-derived endothelial colony-forming cells (CB-ECFCs) contribute to fetal endothelial repair and vascular network formation, but their phenotype in PE remains incompletely understood. Methods: We investigated whether the matricellular protein CCN1 is associated with CB-ECFC senescence and dysfunction.

Association between perfluorooctanoic acid-related poor embryo quality and metabolite alterations in human follicular fluid during IVF:A Cohort Study
Perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) have been shown to disrupt normal follicular development and ovulation. However, it is unknown which specific PFAS in follicular fluid negatively impact oocyte development and embryo quality or whether any of the metabolites present in the follicular fluid contribute to these adverse effects.

Metallic tin nanodots inducing interfacial adsorption-insertion mechanism for carbon nano-honeycombs with enhanced sodium storage
Metallic tin nanodots inducing interfacial adsorption-insertion mechanism for carbon nano-honeycombs with enhanced sodium storage Herein, a new Na+ migration pathway of the interfacial adsorption-insertion mechanism is proposed for Sn nanodots modulating N-doped carbon nano-honeycombs (denoted as Sn/N-CNs) to enhance electrochemical kinetics.

Frontiers | The relationship between dominant follicle development and clinical outcomes of hormone replacement therapy-frozen embryo transfer: a retrospective clinical study
Introduction Due to its safety and comfort, the use of frozen embryo transfer (FET) is becoming increasingly widespread and can maintain satisfactory clinical pregnancy outcomes (1–8). The impact of FET on perinatal outcomes is uncertain, and studies suggesting that FET can bring adverse perinatal outcomes, including hypertension, intrahepatic cholestasis, low birth weight and so on (9–11).
