Economics deals with material goods. IIt analyzes what is produced when, where, at which price by whom and who buys it. Immaterial values, in our specific case, power relations, play no role. Economics talks about „producers and consumers and investors“ who rationally maximize their profit, respectively their utility. Among others, the Austrian economist Kurt Rothschild, following Bertrand Russell criticized the neglect of power as a basic shortcoming1 of economics.
