Nalm6-GD2, CHLA255, SY5Y and SMS-SAN tumor cell lines were cultivated in RPMI (Gibco) supplemented with 10% FBS (Sigma Aldrich) and 1% Penicillin/Streptomycin (Gibco). For in vivo studies SY5Y tumor cells were resuspended at 5 × 106/ml in PBS and 200 µl (= 1 × 106 tumor cells) were injected via tail vein injection into six- to ten-week-old female NOD-SCID γc−/− (NSG) mice. Mice were bred in house under Stanford University APLAC-approved protocols as described previously [41].
