Integrating LLM with consortium blockchain for personalized and verifiable online education in higher education
Online Education in Higher Education is rapidly evolving through the integration of Large Language Model (LLM)-powered intelligent systems, which enable personalized tutoring, dynamic content generation, and automated assessment. However, the widespread adoption of LLMs in education is hampered due to their inherent limitations, including susceptibility to hallucinations, insufficient domain-specific knowledge validation, and output inconsistency.
Deep-learning-enabled multi-omics analyses for prediction of future metastasis in cancer
Abstract Metastasis remains the leading cause of cancer-related mortality, yet predicting future metastasis is a major clinical challenge due to the lack of validated biomarkers and effective assessment methods. Here, we present EmitGCL, a deep-learning framework that accurately predicts future metastasis and its corresponding biomarkers.

One-year outcomes of infants discharged with a nasogastric feeding tube
Abstract To describe one-year post-discharge outcomes of infants discharged with nasogastric (NGT) feeding. Retrospective cohort analysis including infants (0–3 months) born or admitted to a single tertiary children’s hospital (April 2014-December 2022) and discharged with NGT feeding. Data analyzed included demographic and clinical characteristics and outcomes at one-year post-discharge. Subgroup analysis compared infants who required GT placement within one-year and those who did not.

Tau aggregates cause reactivation of transposable DNA elements, leading to Z-RNA–ZBP1-mediated neuronal death
|
Abstract Once tau aggregates are formed, their neurotoxicity significantly contributes to neuronal death and cognitive decline in tauopathies, with Alzheimer’s disease being the most well-known example. Despite its central pathogenic role, however, effective therapeutic strategies targeting the neurotoxicity of tau remain poor. Here we demonstrate the pathogenic role of neuronal cell death in tau-related neurodegeneration (PS19 mouse model).

Multi-scale data improves performance of machine learning model for long COVID identification
|
Abstract Long COVID affects a substantial proportion of the over 778 million individuals infected with SARS-CoV-2, yet predictive models remain limited in scope. While existing efforts, such as the National COVID Cohort Collaborative (N3C), have leveraged electronic health record (EHR) data for risk prediction and identification, accumulating evidence points to additional contributions from social, behavioral, and genetic factors.

Characteristics of Radish Seed Protein and Its In Vitro Digested Products After Ultrasound-Heat Co-Treatment
1 Introduction Radish (Raphanus sativus L.) seeds, known as Lai Fu Zi in Chinese, are mature seeds from a cruciferous plant renowned for their diverse pharmacological activities, attributed to a rich array of bioactive components (Gao et al. 2022). Among these, glucosinolates and isothiocyanates, the predominant compounds in radish, have been extensively studied for their demonstrated anticancer property (Raiola et al. 2018).

3.1. Characterization of Adsorbents As shown in Figure 1 , the morphology and elemental distribution of the samples at various treatment stages were systematically characterized. Figure 1 b presents the SEM image of QBC, where the surface exhibits a loose structure with irregular particle shapes, weak particle aggregation, and rough texture. The absence of well-defined pores suggests a limited specific surface area and relatively few active sites.
Outpatient assessment of bronchopulmonary dysplasia using point of care lung ultrasound
Abstract Background: Lung point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) is an emerging technology for assessment of neonatal lung diseases. Prior studies have described lung ultrasound scores (LUS) in bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD). However, few have assessed LUS in patients with BPD beyond the initial neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) hospitalization.
Uncovering Research Themes in Simulation-Based Critical Care Education: A Bibliometric and Cluster Analysis
1 Introduction Critical care is characterised by high-stakes, complex and time-sensitive clinical scenarios that require healthcare professionals to make rapid and accurate decisions [1]. Simulation-based medical education (SBME) has emerged as an essential pedagogical tool, offering a safe and controlled environment in which practitioners can refine their clinical skills and decision-making capabilities [2].

Great Wall: A Generalized Dose Optimization Design for Drug Combination Trials Maximizing Survival Benefit
1 Introduction The drug combination strategy, which involves administering two or more drugs together, has become popular due to its enhanced effectiveness and ability to delay drug resistance [1-3]. A notable example is the HER2-positive breast cancer trial [4], where combining trastuzumab with chemotherapy significantly increased survival rates compared to chemotherapy alone.

A Stronger Leakage Model Based on Conditional Generative Adversarial Networks for Correlation Power Analysis
Deep learning-based side-channel attacks (DL-SCA) have attracted widespread attention in recent years, and most of the researchers are devoted to finding the optimal DL-SCA method. At the same time, traditional SCA methods have lost their luster. However, traditional attacks still have certain advantages. Compared with the DL-SCA method, they do not require cumbersome engineering of tuning DL models and hyperparameters, making them easier to implement.

Ultrasound-responsive theranostic platform for the timely monitoring and efficient thrombolysis in thrombi of tPA resistance - Nature Communications
Abstract There is no effective and noninvasive solution for thrombolysis because the mechanism by which certain thrombi become tissue plasminogen activator (tPA)-resistant remains obscure. Endovascular thrombectomy is the last option for these tPA-resistant thrombi, thus a new noninvasive strategy is urgently needed.
Palladium-Catalyzed Hiyama-Type Coupling of Thianthrenium and Phenoxathiinium Salts
Over the past few decades, transition metal-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions have provided important innovations in synthetic chemistry and are considered to be the most powerful and accurate tools for constructing carbon–carbon bonds. (1) In this context, the Hiyama coupling reaction has received considerable attention due to the low cost, easy availability, and environmental friendliness of organosilanes, which could tolerate various sensitive functional groups.

Unveiling the Intricate Sinking behavior of Large Diatoms: Insights from Time-Frequency Analysis of Palmerina hardmaniana Sinking under Silicate-Depleted Conditions
Abstract Nutrient limits impact diatom sinking in time domain, but response in time-frequency domain is unclear. Studying the response of large diatoms to nutrients exclusively in the time domain fails to fully capture the complete impact of nutrient limitations on sinking behavior due to the absence of crucial information, including period and frequency. Wavelet analysis provides valuable insights into the period and frequency of signals and unveils their positions in the time.
