Leah Zitter’s Biography
Dr. Leah Zitter, PhD in Research Psychology (behavioral neuroscience), is a CISSP-certified expert in the neuroscience of human hacking. Her work builds on more than a decade of research writing and data journalism for FinTech and cybersecurity leaders including Google, AWS, and Yale Law School, where she analyzed how emerging technologies reshape risk, trust, and human behavior.
Today, she translates that research into applied cognitive security (CogSec): helping organizations understand and defend against social engineering as a form of real-time psychological manipulation.
In parallel, she authors thought leadership on cognitive warfare, extremism and radicalization—all domains of “human hacking”
