PHILADELPHIA — The Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History was vandalized on Monday morning. The museum is on Independence Mall in Philadelphia. At a time when anti-Semitism is a growing concern, WCAU reported the story hours later with video calling the place a Holocaust museum. On air, a reporter fronted the story in the newsroom’s Live Center, an area apparently named to promote a sense of urgency, regardless of whether one exists or not.

‘Very big force’: Will the news media be attacked for not showing Trump’s military parade?

The question is absolutely appropriate. Ask the folks at the Associated Press what happened for refusing to use the name Gulf of America in every instance without qualification. President Donald Trump is suing Paramount/CBS for $20 billion, claiming the news program somehow defamed him by editing the answer to a question given by election opponent Kamala Harris that was not about Trump, who turned down a similar interview. That lawsuit could also mean trouble for Paramount’s sale to Skydance Media.

I’m back after a month with a more personal type of story. That’s what CohenConnect.com will be again, along with some opinion. The news moved to FloridaFreaks.com, where I’ve been adding older articles that were never on this site. I hope to write new stories there again next week.
