The planned mass revocation would target foreign nationals who entered the United States on temporary B-1 business or B-2 tourist visas issued between 2016 and 2026 and later sought asylum. Kate Kelley said for as long as she can remember, she's taken the term "family historian" seriously. In 2021 she said she and her mom had been going through old family photos, specifically looking and one of her grandparent's albums. They noticed many people they were related to, and then found a few they weren't.
