PEORIA (25News Now) - Dr. Joy Erlichman Miller, who has provided mental health and awareness services across Central Illinois, died suddenly on Saturday. Dr. Miller was founder and director of Joy Miller & Associates in Peoria. She was a Certified Master Addictions Counselor, participated in over 150 conferences internationally, and worked with over 15,000 participants in the past 20 years.

PEORIA (25News Now) - A respected attorney and great friend of WEEK is being remembered. Matt Jones of Edwards recently passed away after a brave battle against glioblastoma. He was 59. Matt was an assistant state’s attorney in Peoria County, served as counsel for the Illinois State Republicans and was associate director of the Office of the Illinois Appellate Prosecutor.

Enterprise architecture (EA) projects have a bad rap among business leaders because they traditionally do not solve an immediate business problem. Instead, enterprise architects are trying to get a handle on the current - and ultimate future - state of the company’s technology architecture. This puts technologists and department leaders at unnecessary odds. Ideally, they should be working together to deliver a better future for the company or government department. Is EA obsolete?
