Le'Veon Bell continues to savage Adam Gase and the NY Jets on social media
It's safe to say that NY Jets fans don't look back fondly at either Le'Veon Bell or Adam Gase's stints with the organization. Both players are representative of a dark era for the franchise, one the current regime has worked hard to put in the past. But every once in a while, it can be interesting to reminisce on the bad days. That's exactly what Bell decided to do last week when he went on a mini rant of sorts on social media about his time playing under Gase.
Could Le'Veon Bell come out of retirement to play for the NY Jets?
The NY Jets are expected to be in the market for a veteran running back this offseason. Could the team reunite with a familiar face in Le'Veon Bell? The short answer is...no. This almost certainly will not happen, but let's talk about it anyway. In a series of Snapchat videos posted this past weekend, Bell insisted that he was eyeing a return to the NFL. Bell suggested that he plans to start training for his comeback in March but that he only plans to return to play for one team.
Jake Paul drops Anderson Silva in win then calls out Nate Diaz
GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Jake Paul's inexplicable boxing résumé now includes a win over one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time. Paul, the YouTube-star-turned-prizefighter, beat former longtime UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva by unanimous decision (77-74, 78-73, 78-73) Saturday night at Desert Diamond Arena. The bout was very competitive, but Paul pulled away late and sealed the victory by dropping Silva in the eighth round with a right hand.
Adrian Peterson Only Paid $15k to Get Knocked Out By Le'Veon Bell
It should be noted this is the purse that was disclosed to the California Athletic Commission for tax purposes. It is highly probable that because Adrian Peterson owes many people money, he took the bulk of his purse under the table. What I hope didn't happen is that AP decided to take a cut of the PPV money instead is just being paid upfront. The PPV bombed, so there isn't going to be a lot of money to spread around. $15k isn't enough to get knocked out by Le'Veon Bell and become a meme.
Adrian Peterson Reportedly Paid $15k Salary To Get Brutally Knocked Out By Le'Veon Bell
Adrian Peterson didn’t get paid much upfront money for his fight against Le’Veon Bell. On Saturday night, Peterson got brutally knocked out by Bell in the fourth round of their fight. Combat sports reporter Jed I.Goodman got ahold of the disclosed salaries which says that Bell was paid $250k while Peterson was paid $15k.

BarDown Staff Le'Veon Bell , Mark Brown/Getty Images Le'Veon Bell is not too happy about a recent trade that's garnering lots of public attention. On Saturday, Jamal Adams took to Instagram Live to celebrate his trade from the New York Jets to the Seattle Seahawks, throwing himself a solo dance party. It seems as if Le'Veon didn't take the news well, calling out Adams in a tweet.
Toughest task of all begins now for Jets, GM Joe Douglas
FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — Get ready, Joe Douglas. All eyes are on you for the next several months. The New York Jets general manager embarks on his first full off-season in charge, with the difficult and unenviable task of trying to improve a team that went 7-9 this season but was ravaged by injuries and inconsistency. It all led to a ninth straight year without a playoff appearance and had many fans and media wondering if Adam Gase should be one and done with the Jets.
New York Jets won't discipline Le'Veon Bell for bowling after flu absence
9h ago The Canadian Press Le'Veon Bell , The Canadian Press FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — Le'Veon Bell will be spared from team discipline after his weekend bowling outing. The New York Jets running back missed the team's 22-21 win Sunday against Miami while continuing to recover from the flu, which kept him out of practice for two days last week. Coach Adam Gase said Tuesday that team doctors determined Bell was still ill Saturday, so the team ruled him out for the game. “He wanted to play," Gase said.

Le’Veon Bell calls out the NFL on Twitter for his 5th “random” drug test
That’s five drug tests in ten weeks for Le’Veon Bell and he’s had enough of it, blasting the league on Twitter. Although the NFL administers their drug tests among players randomly, Bell isn’t thrilled with being picked by the league yet again this week. Considering that his four previous tests have already turned up clean, and especially that nobody likes being pricked with needles, you can certainly sympathize.
Le'Veon Bell ready to run in New York Jets debut: 'Don't hold back'
FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — Le'Veon Bell has waited long enough. The star running back will make his debut for the New York Jets on Sunday in the season opener against the Buffalo Bills. And, he's looking to pick up right where he left off 20 months ago. "I can't even explain it, bro," Bell said Wednesday. "It's been a long time since I played football. A lot of people are excited to watch me play. Just quadruple that.
New York Jets' Le'Veon Bell eager for contact, wants teammates to hit him
19m ago The Canadian Press Le'Veon Bell , The Canadian Press FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — Le'Veon Bell wants his teammates to hit him. Nothing too hard or violent, but just enough for him to feel it. The New York Jets running back isn't playing during the preseason, so he's doing whatever he can to be ready for football when the regular season starts. "Give me a little something," he tells some of the veterans on defence.
Gase: Le'Veon Bell won't make New York Jets debut until regular season
1h ago The Canadian Press Le'Veon Bell , The Canadian Press EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Le'Veon Bell's debut with the New York Jets will not come until the regular season after Adam Gase announced the star running back will be held out of the final two preseason games. Gase says Sunday he was leaning toward that decision, but a season-ending knee injury to linebacker Avery Williamson in the Jets' preseason loss at Atlanta on Thursday night sealed it.
Bell wants to be No. 1 on field, in rap game
FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — Le'Veon Bell was in fifth grade when he simply couldn't shake music from his mind. The creative beats. The grooving basslines. The raw lyrics. He was hooked on it all, just like football. "That's when I really realized I loved music," the star running back recalled in an interview with The Associated Press at the New York Jets' facility. "I remember 50 Cent, he had dropped the album 'Get Rich or Die Tryin', and I saved up my own money to go to Walmart and I bought the CD.
New York Jets Le'Veon Bell feels healthy, rested and ready for '500 touches'
FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — Le'Veon Bell took a screen pass from Sam Darnold, shifted around some would-be tacklers and scooted down the sideline for a big gain. Nope, no sign of rust here. While it was just an early moment in the New York Jets' first training camp practice Thursday, it's the type of scenario Bell and the Jets envision playing out over and over again this season. "I felt good," the star running back said. "Yesterday, I did the conditioning test twice.
Gase not concerned with Bell, Lee absent from Jets' workouts
2h ago The Canadian Press Le'Veon Bell , The Canadian Press FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — The New York Jets hit the field together for the first time this off-season — without their star running back. Le'Veon Bell was not among the players present Tuesday for the start of the team's voluntary three-day minicamp. Linebacker Darron Lee, whose role with the team is uncertain, was also not on the practice field. Coach Adam Gase appeared unconcerned, though, downplaying the fact neither was present.
Report: Ex-Steeler Bell plans to sign with Jets
3m ago TSN.ca Staff Le'Veon Bell , Jim Rogash/Getty Images Le’Veon Bell is finally officially out of Pittsburgh. The free-agent running back plans to sign a contract with the New York Jets. Bell will return to the gridiron this season after sitting out last season due to a contract dispute with the Steelers. After being franchised for a second straight season, Bell chose not to sign the tender and spent the season on the sidelines.
The Bell doesn't toll: Steelers won't tag RB
3m ago TSN.ca Staff Le'Veon Bell , Getty Images Le'Veon Bell's Pittsburgh Steelers tenure appears to be over. The team's general manager Kevin Colbert confirmed on Wednesday that the Steelers will not be tagging the running back, making him an unrestricted free agent next month. Now officially sitting the season out, Le'Veon has already started hinting at where he wants to go
Le’Veon Bell’s now-famous hold out is officially going the distance. After not being able to come to terms with the Pittsburgh Steelers by the deadline, the talented running back will now spend the season watching from the sidelines. Figuratively speaking, of course… He will not actually be anywhere near the sidelines. While his disappearing act from the gridiron continues, you don’t have to look for to find him.

LE'VEON BELL: Does Not Report To Steelers At Start Of Bye Week
The Le’Veon Bell saga has taken yet another turn. And not for the better, after Bell was expected to report to the Steelers’ facility during their bye week—which would have been yesterday. Thing is, when the team reported to its headquarters there was no sign of Bell. Still, I wouldn’t be surprised if he pops up later in the week as the he only needs to show up Thursday or even Friday and the Steelers would still be required to pay him his Week 7 check.
Fantasy football owners are losing it over Le'Veon Bell's holdout
If you still haven’t done your fantasy football draft yet, the latest news could have some major implications if you’re picking in the top half of a draft. Earlier on Tuesday afternoon, Le’Veon Bell, who’s still holding out on his fellow Steelers’ teammates, was in the headlines after his agent, Adisa Bakari, went on NFL Live and dropped a bombshell that sent shockwaves through football fans and fantasy owners. Well, Steelers fans and fantasy owners weren’t having any of it.

Is Le'Veon Bell New York bound next season? Odell Beckham Jr. seems to think so
Is Le'Veon Bell New York bound next season? Odell Beckham Jr. seems to think so Le’Veon Bell is hands down one of the greatest running backs in the NFL today. Since entering the league back in 2013, the soon-to-be 26-year-old has racked up 5,336 rushing yards and 35 rushing touchdowns to go along with 2,660 receiving yards and seven receiving touchdowns.
Steelers finish on top of NFL Power Rankings
The Pittsburgh Steelers finish in top spot in the TSN.ca NFL Power Rankings, ahead of the Los Angeles Rams and New England Patriots. The caveat with the Steelers taking top spot is that Antonio Brown is currently dealing with a calf injury, but indications are that he could be ready after an extra week off. In any case, the Steelers have offensive playmakers and a solid enough defence to have won 10 of their last 11 games, with the only loss a controversial three-point defeat against the Patriots.

Da da da. Da da da.Six syllables. I got to the sideline and that’s all I could hear. All of my teammates were looking at me, smiling, shouting — singing. Even the coaches were doing it. Heck, even the waterboys were doing it. It was surreal. Like, a hundred-plus people, standing on the sideline: looking, smiling, shouting, singing. At me. And they were all singing the exact same thing — the same six syllables.Da da da. Da da da.VIDEOYup, that’s the SportsCenter theme music.
