CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The annual return of Saharan dust is once again bringing hazy skies and colorful sunrises to the Coastal Bend, but doctors say it can also affect people's health. Health experts at Corpus Christi Medical Center say the dust can lower air quality and irritate the lungs, especially for people with asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), allergies and other respiratory conditions.
