PGX-ChurnNet a leakage-controlled cross-schema network for telecom churn early warning
Abstract Telecom churn prediction is useful for retention planning only when the observation window precedes the outcome and the evaluation reflects the intended deployment setting. We propose the Planning-Gap-aware Cross-Schema Churn Network (PGX-ChurnNet), integrating semantic-group tokenization, set interactions, training-only memory retrieval, reliability-controlled fusion, and a shared-backbone multi-member output layer.
YOLO world guides open world video anomaly detection
Abstract Video anomaly detection is important for safety-critical monitoring, yet deployed systems must recognize anomaly categories absent from training. Existing weakly supervised and vision-language methods emphasize video- or segment-level scores or text–video similarity, limiting object-centric temporal reasoning and direct known-versus-unknown separation. To address these limitations, this paper proposes OW-YW-VAD, an object-centric open-world video anomaly detection framework.

A zero-sequence-enhanced 7-channel MTF-ResNet18-MSA framework for transmission line fault diagnosis
Abstract Accurate transmission-line fault diagnosis is important for reliable power-system protection. Existing deep learning methods often rely on phase-domain voltages and currents, which may be insufficient to distinguish severe three-phase faults with and without a ground path. This paper proposes a domain-knowledge-enhanced 7-channel MTF-ResNet18-MSA framework for electrical fault diagnosis. The input consists of three-phase voltages, three-phase currents, and zero-sequence current.
Semiconducting and magnetic lanthanide MXenes from intercalated halides
Abstract Two-dimensional (2D) magnetic semiconductors are crucial for next-generation information storage and spintronic technologies1,2. MXenes, owing to compositional diversity and tunable properties, provide a platform for designing functional materials3,4,5. Incorporating lanthanides (Ln) introduces localized 4f electrons with strong spin polarization, while potentially enabling semiconducting behaviour, offering a viable route to magnetic semiconductors6,7.
Dihydroartemisinin inhibits mutant KRAS to potentiate regorafenib plus anti-PD-1 in KRAS -mutant colorectal cancer liver metastases
Abstract Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most prevalent malignancies worldwide, and liver metastases stands as a leading contributor to its high mortality rate in advanced stages. Regorafenib plus anti-PD-1 is a new therapeutic option for patients with colorectal cancer liver metastases (CRCLM). However, a considerable number of patients have not benefited from it. In this study, KRAS mutation was identified associated with resistance to regorafenib plus anti-PD-1 in CRCLM.

Taking the Yellow River Basin (YRB) of China as a case study, this research examined the spatiotemporal evolution and coupling coordination between CRP and SED across eight provinces from 2013 to 2024.
Transcending the Paradox of Statistical and Value Rationality: A Tripartite Evolutionary Game Analysis of E-Commerce Algorithmic Involution
The unbridled pursuit of statistical rationality has precipitated a crisis of value rationality in e-commerce ecosystems, leading to algorithmic involution—a dilemma characterized by destructive hyper-competition. To reconcile this theoretical paradox and explore effective governance pathways, this paper constructs a tripartite evolutionary game model involving e-commerce platforms, government regulators, and consumers.

Receptor discovery for nanomaterial soft and hard coronas via a biosensor-based Fishing strategy
Abstract Upon exposure to biological fluids, nanomaterials rapidly acquire dynamic layers of adsorbed proteins called the protein corona, redefining the biological identity of nanomaterials and governing their in vivo fate. While corona composition has been extensively profiled, two aspects remain poorly understood: dynamic evolution and the receptor-mediated mechanisms underlying its cellular recognition. Here we present a broadly applicable, real-time biosensor-based protocol.
AI and network biology for rational polypharmacology in signaling drug design: a review
Abstract The complexity of disease-causing signaling networks is indicative of the failure of single-target therapeutics to work, particularly because of feedback, redundancy and activation of compensatory responses. The review describes the recent movement to network pharmacology and purposeful polypharmacology facilitated by the emergence of artificial intelligence (AI) and massive biological knowledge graphs.

We present a previously healthy 45-year-old man who developed an invasive Rhizopus microsporus infection following a haystack crush injury. Initially treated for crush syndrome and acute kidney injury (AKI), he developed distinct right temple necrosis on hospital day 13. Immediate debridement exposed bone involvement.
High-sensitivity pan-cancer AI assessment of lymph node metastasis via uncertainty quantification
|
Abstract The histological heterogeneity of primary tumors across the pan-cancer spectrum poses a formidable barrier to accurate lymph node metastasis assessment, often causing AI systems to make “overconfident errors” on rare variants that lead to missed diagnoses. To address this, we present UPATHLN, a unified diagnostic platform that synergizes a pathology foundation model-based encoder with a decoupled uncertainty estimation mechanism.
