[2610.09673] Exploring topology via momentum-selective tomography
Identifying and measuring topological invariants remains a fundamental challenge due to the non-local nature of momentum eigenstates in real space. Established approaches based on Bloch oscillations, quantum walks, charge pumping and quench dynamics, typically fail to provide direct momentum-dependent geometric information of each Bloch state.
Treatment responses to different inhalation therapies in GOLD 2026 group E patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease: a stratified analysis
Abstract The Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease (GOLD) 2026 report revised the combined chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) assessment. Patients with one or more exacerbations in the past year are classified into group E, and long-acting β2-agonist (LABA) + long-acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA) + or LABA + LAMA + inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) is recommended as initial inhalation therapy.
Disease stability in COPD following GOLD 2026-aligned initial therapy: a retrospective real-world study
Abstract The Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease (GOLD) 2026 introduces the concept of “disease stability” (DS), classifies patients with ≥1 moderate exacerbation in the previous year as Group E, and recommends long-acting beta2-agonist (LABA) + long-acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA) or inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) + LABA + LAMA for Group E, LABA + LAMA for Group B, and bronchodilator monotherapy for Group A.

Sub1 contributes to heart failure with preserved ejection fraction driven by aging in mice
Abstract Heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) accounts for approximately half of all heart failure cases and predominantly affects older individuals, yet effective treatments remain limited. The molecular mechanisms linking cardiac aging to HFpEF are not fully understood. Here we show that the transcriptional regulator Sub1 is upregulated in aged hearts and in mouse models of HFpEF.
DCBM-Tri: a dual-channel bilinear mapping triplet model for early recognition of acute kidney injury in imbalanced cohorts
Abstract Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) is a common clinical syndrome with poor prognosis and high mortality in the intensive care unit (ICU). Delayed diagnosis limits timely intervention and worsens outcomes, while early recognition is further challenged by the imbalanced distribution of AKI and non-AKI cases.

Kdf1 missense mutation caused enamel defects by disrupting cell adhesion and Hippo-YAP signaling in dental epithelium
|
Abstract Amelogenesis imperfecta is a hereditary enamel defect arising from dental epithelium dysfunction. Although keratinocyte differentiation factor 1 (KDF1) acts as an intracellular regulator in epithelial cells, the underlying disease mechanism of the patient-derived KDF1 missense mutation in amelogenesis remains unclear. Here, we show that a patient-derived KDF1 mutation (c.908 G > C, p.R303P) causes enamel defects by disrupting cell adhesion and Hippo-YAP signaling.

Psychological Factors, Serum Trace Elements, and Clinical Features of Factitious Oral Ulcers in Children and Adolescents: A Cross-Sectional Study
1 Introduction Factitious oral ulcer (FOU) (Figure 1), categorized as a traumatic oral ulcer, arises from intentional self-harm or unconscious habitual behaviors such as chronic lip/cheek/tongue biting or mechanical irritation using foreign objects. These repetitive injurious behaviors induce deep, irregularly shaped ulcers predominantly in the lower labial mucosa, buccal regions, and tongue, with persistent trauma impeding natural healing processes (Gonçalves et al. 2017).

Probing chiral-symmetric higher-order topological insulators with multipole winding number - Communications Physics
Abstract The interplay between crystalline symmetry and band topology gives rise to unprecedented lower-dimensional boundary states in higher-order topological insulators (HOTIs). However, the measurement of the topological invariants of HOTIs remains a significant challenge. Here, we define a multipole winding number (MWN) for chiral-symmetric HOTIs by applying a corner twisted boundary condition.

A comprehensive analysis of the potential biological functions and prognostic values of SREBF1 for multiple cancer types including colorectal cancer
Abstract As an important molecule involved in lipid metabolism, Sterol Regulatory Element-Binding Protein 1 (SREBF1) plays a critical role in governing cellular lipid synthesis and uptake. However, a comprehensive understanding of the biological significance of SREBF1 in pan-cancer remains elusive. In this study, we aimed to comprehensively analyze the functional characteristics of SREBF1 in human cancers, including colorectal cancer (CRC).
Swampland constraints on the symmetry topological field theory of supergravity
We consider string/M-theory reductions on a compact space X=Xloc∪X∘, where Xloc contains the singular locus and X∘ is its complement. For the resulting supergravity theories, we construct a suitable symmetry topological field theory (SymTFT) associated with the boundary ∂Xloc∐∂X∘. We propose that boundary conditions for different Bogomol’nyi-Prasad-Sommerfield branes wrapping the same boundary cycles must be correlated for the SymTFT to yield an absolute theory consistent with quantum gravity.

Floquet engineering of Hilbert space fragmentation in Stark lattices
Abstract The concept of Hilbert space fragmentation (HSF) has recently been put forward as a routine to break quantum ergodicity. Although HSF exists widely in models with dynamical constraints, it is still challenging to tune it. Here, we propose a scheme to tune the HSF in a one-dimensional tilted lattice of interacting spinless fermions with periodically driven tunneling.
