Toy giveaway goes mobile for the second year in a row

DENVER — A line of cars wrapped around a Denver parking lot for a mobile toy giveaway that kicked off Friday morning when Santa Claus showed up on a fire truck. The Denver Santa Claus Shop is hoping to give toys to more than 14,000 children this holiday season. The nonprofit is celebrating 91 years of providing toys to families in need.

Report shows airline refund policies rank among top complaints since pandemic

DENVER — It's not exactly surprising that complaints involving airlines were skyrocketing during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, but a new report shows those complaints have yet to reach pre-pandemic levels. "So we’re still seeing a high level high number of complaints, the number one version of the complaint is around refunds, trouble getting refunds," said Danny Katz, Executive Director of the Colorado Public Interest Research Group, or CoPIRG.

Navy veteran's belongings stuck in storage facility seven months after moving to Colorado

BROOMFIELD, Colo — Andre Gladden served for 10 years in the Navy and recently left to take a new job in Colorado. He was excited to make the move with his wife, but seven months later, they're still waiting on their belongings to arrive. "Me and my wife spent thousands of dollars replacing everything. We had to use the emergency fund just to rebuild our lives," said Gladden. It's been such a long wait that Gladden started buying new household items.
