COLUMBIA, Tenn. (WATE) — It’s called Camp Hope and it provides just that for children who have suffered burn injuries. It’s in Columbia, Tennessee, south of Nashville, and it’s affiliated with Vanderbilt Burn Unit. The Knoxville Firefighters Association is a big supporter, and so is WATE. We recently got to spend time with one of the campers who will benefit—a boy who was badly burned in a house fire when he was only four months old.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The 18th annual Arab Fest returns to Downtown Knoxville this weekend. It offers a chance for families to experience Arab culture through music, dance, food and fashion. Organized by the Arab-American Club of Knoxville, the free event runs from noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 3. This year’s festival will feature a record number of vendor tents, showcasing the diverse cultures from various Arab countries.
