Tumor-type–specific expression of TTF-1 in primary central nervous system tumors classified by the 2021 WHO criteria
Introduction In routine diagnostic practice, overlapping expression of thyroid transcription factor-1 (TTF-1) has been observed in both primary and metastatic central nervous system (CNS) tumors. In addition, variability in sensitivity among different antibody clones further complicates interpretation, posing significant challenges for differential diagnosis. Clarifying the expression profile of TTF-1 across diverse CNS tumor entities is therefore essential for optimizing its clinical application.

In this study, we derived a high-resolution (1 km × 1 km, daily) ALWC dataset for the contiguous US from 2000 to 2019.
The SAG101–NRG1 branch of TIR signaling activates phenylalanine-derived SA biosynthesis in Nicotiana benthamiana
Salicylic acid (SA) is a central defense hormone in plants. In the model plant Arabidopsis, SA is primarily synthesized via the isochorismate synthase (ICS) pathway (Peng et al., 2021). However, recent studies in Nicotiana benthamiana and rice revealed a more prevalent phenylalanine (Phe)-derived SA biosynthesis pathway in plant species outside the Brassicaceae, where SA is produced from benzoyl coenzyme A (benzoyl-CoA) in three steps (Liu et al., 2025; Wang et al., 2025; Zhu et al., 2025).
KDM6A alternative splicing induced by 25(OH)D inhibits breast cancer cell stemness through repressing TRAP1 transcription - Oncogene
Abstract 25-Hydroxyvitamin D (25(OH)D), a metabolite of vitamin D, has demonstrated anticancer properties; however, the role of alternative splicing in mediating these effects remains poorly understood. In this study, we reveal for the first time that 25(OH)D exerts antitumor effects by promoting exon 13 skipping of KDM6A (KDM6A Δexon13), which suppresses the proliferation and stemness of breast cancer cells and lacks H3K27 demethylase activity.

In ovo feeding technology promotes skeletal muscle development and growth performance in broiler chickens
SUMMARY Skeletal muscle constitutes the largest component of broiler chickens and is a primary determinant of poultry meat yield and quality. Skeletal muscle growth depends on the number and volume of myofibers, and the total myofiber number largely established prior to hatching. During the late embryonic stage, breast muscle is particularly susceptible to atrophy due to limited energy storage.

Three-step biosynthesis of salicylic acid from benzoyl-CoA in plants - Nature
Abstract Salicylic acid (SA) is the active ingredient in willow bark that has been used for anti-inflammation and pain relief for centuries. Aspirin, a derivative of SA, is the most widely used medication in human history. SA also acts as a key plant defence hormone1,2,3,4. Although SA was known to be produced from chorismate in the model plant Arabidopsis5,6, how it is biosynthesized in plant families outside Brassicaceae remains unclear.
A Fasciculoventricular Accessory Pathway Featuring Functional Decremental Conduction and QRS Variability
Average (ratings) Abstract Fasciculoventricular accessory pathways (FVAPs), once considered rare variants of pre-excitation syndrome, are now recognised as ubiquitous in both humans and murine. Nonetheless, most FVAPs are likely electrically silent. However, they can become evident, as reported for some glycogen storage diseases (such as Danon disease and PRKAG2) and during high-voltage septal pacing. Typically, FVAPs only exhibit antegrade and non-decremental conducting properties.
