City council OKs sewer lining contract

The Ladysmith Common Council approved a sewer lining contract and adopted the city’s annual wastewater compliance report during its June 8 meeting, while also continuing negotiations on several development-related matters discussed in closed session. The council unanimously approved a $17,028 contract with Visu-Sewer to line a section of sanitary sewer on College Avenue West between Wis. 27 and Port Arthur Road.
