When a radio jockey invited me to talk to her on air about my new book, I gladly agreed. Great for my ego. Good publicity too, I thought. The book cover does feature a radio. A couple of days after the recording, the station messaged to say that I’d be on air in half an hour. I sent a quick SOS on the family group. “Order a C3 jack. You’ll get it in 10 mins,” suggested one daughter. “See if this link to the station works,” messaged another. No, it did not broadcast Her Mother’s Voice.
